Welcome to August. Is everyone ready for school to begin? I have one headed back to college for her last year and one sitting this college year out and getting a job instead. I’m sure everyone is ready for a routine again.<\/p>\n

With a new month comes new Featured Designers. This month we are featuring Blue Heart Scraps and Wimpychompers Creations. I sent them our fun (and somewhat wacky) questions to answer. Let’s see what they gave us.<\/p>\n

First up is JoyLynn of Blue Heart Scraps.<\/p>\n

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?<\/p>\n

That’s tough, because there are so many places that I’ve never had the opportunity to see. And, then there are some places (like Germany and France) that I’ve been that I’d love to take my children to see. But, today? I’d probably choose Australia. I’ve had a very, very dear friend there (that I met online!) for more than 10 years. I’d love to finally get the opportunity to meet her, and let her meet my boys!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

If you had a warning label, what would yours say?<\/p>\n

Caution: Extreme Awesomeness In Use!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

What is one thing you will never do again?<\/p>\n

Have a child. I love the two I have, and though part of me would love a little girl…my two boys are more than enough!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

What’s your favorite movie?<\/p>\n

That changes almost as often as my underwear! We are HUGE movie fans in this house! So, can I be cheesy and choose the Minion Movie?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Do you love or hate rollercoasters?<\/p>\n

LOVE!!!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Do you believe there is intelligent life in outer space?<\/p>\n

I think it’s a bit crazy to think we’re the only living things in the universe.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

What was the last thing you ate?<\/p>\n

Pizza – nom nom nom<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

If you were a crayon, what color would you be?<\/p>\n

Neon Green<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

What’s your biggest pet peeve?<\/p>\n

Oh, I have so many, lol (thank you OCD!) The worst, though, may be when people spell my name with a lower case l. JoyLynn – my first and middle name squished together, so 2 capital letters! And even numbers! *shudder*<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Argh!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Country or City?<\/p>\n

I live in the city – but I’d love to be in the country with a huge garden and a few animals and no internet! \ud83d\ude09<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Indoors or Outdoors?<\/p>\n

Outdoors<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Where’s the neither option? \ud83d\ude09 Cats are boring, and dogs scare me silly, lol!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Who did you look up to as a kid?<\/p>\n

My dad. Hands down.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

What is the one thing that makes you happy despite any mood?<\/p>\n

My boys! One hug, one giggly laugh, one “Mommy, I sure do love you!” and I’m smiling. No matter what life’s throwing at me.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Do you have any tattoos? If yes what and where are they- If no do you want any and what would you get?<\/p>\n

None, but I’ve always wanted one. I’d get an infinity symbol of the word enough on my wrist. A reminder than I am always enough.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Name one television character that you simply adore?<\/p>\n

Dr. Sheldon Cooper. Bazinga!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Somewhere tropical and with clear blue water. Living in California I like the beach but the water is so polluted and dirty it’s kind of gross. Definitely wish it wasn’t that way.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

If you had a warning label, what would yours say?<\/p>\n

Love this question! Um… mine would probably say “Mama Bear… don’t mess with the kids!”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

What is one thing you will never do again?<\/p>\n

Leave a pot of water boiling and forget about it. I’ve done this a couple of times and it never ended well (especially when sanitizing bottle nipples… that one was a mess!)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

What’s your favorite movie?<\/p>\n

I love the Night at the Museum series because I can watch it with the family.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Do you love or hate rollercoasters?<\/p>\n

I like them but hate sharp drops or flipping upside down so it’s an in between answer.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Do you believe there is intelligent life in outer space?<\/p>\n

I think sometimes we are missing intelligent life on earth! lol. Honestly I haven’t thought too much about it, definitely none in our galaxy.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

What was the last thing you ate?<\/p>\n

Air popped popcorn… which I burned half of and had to throw out.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

If you were a crayon, what color would you be?<\/p>\n

People who let disabilities hold them back, or worse enable their disabled child to think they can’t do anything!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Suburbs. lol. I have lived country style forever but think city sounds nice.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Nope, too scared of needles! If I did I would have flowers or some gorgeous script font and a bird flying.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
