This month, the lovely and awesome Rachel of Seatout Scraps has volunteered to answer our questions. Some serious, some crazy. Let&#8217;s see what Rachel has to say.<\/p>\n<p>How did you get started in digital scrapbooking?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>I started paper scrapping many years ago and made the switch to digital in about 2010. I saw layouts in galleries online and thought &#8230; hey, I want a go at that !!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>What made you decide to design?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>I was on the Creative Team for quite a lot of designers and people kept asking me whose templates I used. When they found out I was making my own, they asked me if I would sell them and it started from there.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>What do you use to create your designs (program, additional tools, etc.)?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Photoshop Creative Cloud and Adobe Illustrator<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Describe your design workplace.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>One corner of the sofa with a small dog jammed in next to me.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>What is your favorite thing about designing?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The creative outlet &#8230; and being able to work for myself.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>What is your favorite kit currently in your GS store and why?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>My favorite kit is always the last one I worked on.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>What do you do when you are feeling very sad or depressed?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>I don&#8217;t really do sad or depressed. I am a glass half full kind of a gal.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Which is the best vacation you\u2019ve ever had in your life?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>We traveled on a roadtrip through the Rockies from Denver, up through Wyoming, stopping at Mount Rushmore and on through to Yellowstone. Then back through Idaho and Nevada to my stepdaughters in California. A 2 week trip that I will never forget.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Do you believe in ghosts?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>No<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Who is your celebrity crush?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Timothy Olyphant<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>What do you order when you go to Starbucks?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The nearest Starbucks is about 40 miles away .. I live in the middle of nowhere.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>What is your favorite kind of cookie?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>No cookies &#8230; not a sweet lover &#8230; give me cheese instead.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>How old were you when you had your first kiss?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Maybe 13 or 14.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Are you an optimist or a pessimist?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Optimist<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Would you change your name if you could? If so, what would you change it to?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>No<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>What is your favorite pizza topping?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Hawaiian<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>What do you do to wake up in the morning?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>I am always awake by 4.30am &#8211; 5am. Love mornings.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>What is a small luxury that you treat yourself to?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>A walk on the beach. I treat myself to that most days.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>What did you want to be when you were small?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>I seem to remember that I changed my mind every few days.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Which would you rather do: wash dishes, mow the lawn, clean the bathroom, or vacuum the house?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>None of the above. I have an amazing husband that is in charge of the house.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>If you could hire someone to help you, would it be with cleaning, cooking, or yard work?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>See above LOL.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>What would you do if you won the lottery?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Travel more.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>What&#8217;s the most interesting thing you can see out of your office or kitchen window?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>I look out onto our garden.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Share your favorite recipe with us.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Not a foodie at all.
