She&#8217;s our <a href=\"https:\/\/forums.gingerscraps.net\/showthread.php?39922-October-2017-Designer-Spotlight-Challenge-Connie-Prince\"><strong>GingerScraps October Designer<\/strong><\/a> &#8211; and one of my favourites! I had the great good luck of obtaining a mini-interview with this busy designer and this is what I&#8217;ve learned:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">1&#8230; How long have you been designing?<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #000000\"> I have been designing for 11 years now!<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">2&#8230; What is your design process? <\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #000000\">I typically start with a theme or kit idea then pick colors to match the mood.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">3&#8230; What do you use to create your designs? (software, hardware, etc) <\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #000000\">I use Photoshop &amp; Illustrator for the bulk of my design work.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">4&#8230; Describe your design workspace. <\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #000000\">I work at a desk on a PC with three monitors which is pretty much the best thing ever. Lots of space to multitask!<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">5&#8230; What motivates and inspires you as a designer? <\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Typically I try to stay within the seasonal trends and when I need inspiration I&#8217;ll visit Pinterest or Etsy or even the local craft stores.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">6&#8230; What kit currently available in your GingerScraps store is your favourite? Why? <\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #000000\">This question is almost as hard as picking which child is your favorite lol. Currently, I LOVE Fall Fun. Autumn is absolutely the best season for beautiful hues and I love Autumn decor. Here is a link:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/store.gingerscraps.net\/Fall-Fun-Kit.html\"><strong>Fall Fun<\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>7&#8230; Do you craft outside the digital world?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #000000\">I do a lot of other craft projects, everything from painting\/drawing to wreath making.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">8&#8230; What is the last book you read? <\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Game Of Thrones<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">9&#8230; Tea or coffee? <\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Coffee<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">10&#8230; Do you have a guilty pleasure? <\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Definitely watching television, I love it!<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">11&#8230; If time travel were possible, where would you go and why? <\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Back to my childhood to spend time with loved ones who are no longer with me.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">12&#8230; What&#8217;s your favourite thing about GingerScraps? <\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #000000\">The people! It is such a great community and Ginger is absolutely a wonderful person \/ store owner \/ boss lady.
