My name is Laura and I’m on the store CT here at Gingerscraps!<\/p>\n

Today I’m stepping in for Julie and hosting the “Let’s get crafty” edition!<\/strong>I have an awesome tutorial for you and I’m pretty sure you already have most of the supplies needed lying around your house!

\nThese button bracelets are super easy<\/span> and fun to make. You can also make them to coordinate with your favorite outfit!<\/span><\/p>\n

To get started<\/span> you will need these supplies:
\nelastic: 1\/4″ thick<\/span>
\nbuttons<\/span>
\nthread and needle<\/span><\/div>\n
\n
\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n
Wrap the elastic around your wrist to see how long it needs to be. Don’t make it too tight!<\/span><\/div>\n
\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Leave an overlap of about an inch on either side.<\/span> Mark it with a pencil so you know where to sew it together.<\/p>\n

Then line up your buttons<\/span> next to it so you know where you want to place them.<\/p>\n

*<\/span>I decided after I took this picture that I wanted my buttons to overlap a little bit. If you want to try this instead, just overlap them a bit instead of a straight line as pictured below*<\/span><\/p>\n

Now you want to sew your ends together<\/span>. Use the pencil mark as a guide and start sewing it together. You can also use a lighter on the ends to keep from fraying.<\/p>\n

It should look something like this<\/span> when you are finished.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Now it’s time to sew the buttons on!<\/span> Start with the one in the middle and work your way out…..<\/p>\n

To secure the button to the elastic, <\/span>loop it through a few times underneath and then create a knot as shown here….<\/p>\n

See how I’ve overlapped my buttons a bit? Cute eh?!<\/span><\/p>\n

Here is the almost finished<\/span> product….<\/p>\n

And there you have it! Finito!<\/span><\/p>\n
