Meet ADB Designs!<\/strong><\/p>\n

This month we have two designers in the Spotlight<\/strong>, Karen Schulz<\/strong><\/a> (formerly known as Snickerdoodle Designs<\/strong>) and ADB Designs<\/strong><\/a>. It was my pleasure to chat with Diane<\/strong> of ADB Designs<\/strong><\/a> and learn all about her creative process. She’s one of my very favourite designers EVER!<\/p>\n

J: How long have you been designing? <\/span><\/p>\n

D: S<\/strong>ince 2001<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

J: What made you decide to design? <\/span><\/p>\n

D: W<\/strong>orking for my husband in his professional photography studio after retirement<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

J: What led you to decide to design together? <\/span><\/p>\n

D: We have been digi friends for a very long time and are very comfortable with each other, our design styles, and work ethic. I admire Karen’s talent!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

J: What do you use to create your designs (program, additional tools, etc.)? <\/span><\/p>\n

D: Photoshop.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

J: Describe your design workplace. <\/span><\/p>\n

D: I have a messy office in the my home. The cat lives there (hubby allergic) and one of our English setters comes and spends the day with kitty and me.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

J. What motivates and inspires you as a designer? <\/span><\/p>\n

D: My family history-genealogy passion\u00a0<\/strong><Jan whispers, “ME TOO!!”><\/span><\/p>\n

J: What is your favorite kit currently in your GS store and why? <\/span><\/p>\n

D: My all time favorite is Patriots & Loyalists to help scrap Revolutionary War era family history work (though it works for many other pages too)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

J: If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? <\/span><\/p>\n

D: Oh dear….not sure<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

J: What is your favorite game or sport to watch and play?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

D: prefers not to respond<\/p>\n

J: What did you want to be when you were small? <\/span><\/p>\n

D: A psychologist<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

J: Aside from necessities, what one thing could you not go a day without? <\/span><\/p>\n

D: Family<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

J: Who would you want to play you in a movie of your life? <\/span><\/p>\n
