It’s August!! \u00a0Do your kids (grandkids) go back to school this month? \u00a0Mine do. \u00a0In fact mine go back in 5 weeks from today. \u00a0I’m not counting though. \u00a0That is 29 days, but once again I’m not counting. \u00a0Things are just getting busy right now and I’m not completely sure why. \u00a0I’ve been trying to figure out what clothes the boys have and what they will need for school. \u00a0Although we won’t get the school supply list until a week before school starts, I need to start figuring out clothes (who will wear what and if it fits).<\/p>\n

Once again I have a great transition for you \u00a0– ready for it? \u00a0“I know what will fit all of you! \u00a0Some fantastic deals with have going on here at GingerScraps” \u00a0See? \u00a0I’m so bad at transitions..lol.<\/p>\n

I also have some really HUGE news. \u00a0Like seriously HUGE. \u00a0Keep reading, you DON”T want to miss out.<\/p>\n

Since it is the first of the month you know what that means right? \u00a0That’s right it is our $1 Bake Sale<\/a>!!<\/p>\n

One thing that is always in the $1 Bake sale is our monthly Buffet kits! \u00a0This month’s theme is Summer Cottage<\/a>! \u00a0The designers had so much fun this month making the kit and you can totally tell.<\/p>\n

Since you are all so smart you know what happens when you spend $10 in the store right? \u00a0That’s right! \u00a0You get a free grab bag! \u00a0This month’s grab bag has been made by Connie Prince<\/a>!!<\/p>\n

Now that we got that out of the way I have to tell you about our Guest Designer! \u00a0This month our guest designer is Sugar Pie Scraps!!<\/p>\n

We are so excited to have her with us! \u00a0We asked Crystal to tell us a bit about herself and this is what she had to say<\/p>\n

My name is Crystal and I am married to the love of my life, Rusty. We live in the south and we have an adorable son named Landen who was born on August 14, 2008. I call him Mommy’s “Sugar Pie” (I’m sure he will love that as he gets older) so that is where I came up with my designer name “Sugar Pie Scraps” because my son is my inspiration for scrapping. <\/em><\/p>\n

I started paper scrapbooking when I was pregnant with my son. I was on an online mommy board and started making siggies (signature tags). I loved it and then I came across digital scrapbooking. I started digiscrapping around October 2009 and never looked back. I am completely addicted LOL.<\/em><\/p>\n

I love designing but I also love being a Creative Team member myself. I am blessed to be able to work with some fabulous designers. <\/em><\/p>\n

I started designing in April 2010 and I was addicted in no time. I have a fabulous Creative Team, the “Sugar Pie Chefs”. <\/em><\/p>\n
