It&#8217;s already the last tutorial of the month. Whew!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Susan<\/strong> asked for a tutorial on using those all-in-one sheets some designers provide with their alphas, and it just so happens that topic fits nicely into the <strong>Quick Trick<\/strong> deck. Now, I don&#8217;t use them, as a rule; I typically delete them and keep the individual letter files. But then, I&#8217;ve got a ton of hard drive space for that, and I know not everybody does. However, when I ran a search through my <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>GingerScraps<\/strong><\/span> kits, I found more than one folder that had the all-in-ones inside &#8211; the only form of the alpha(s) provided. So I was set to get this tut out to you.<\/p>\n<p>For my sample, I&#8217;m using this pink striped alpha from the <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><a style=\"color: #800000;\" href=\"https:\/\/store.gingerscraps.net\/GingerBread-Ladies-Monthly-Mix-Summer-Treats.html\"><strong>GingerBread Ladies Summer Treats<\/strong><\/a><\/span> collab.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-51926\" src=\"https:\/\/gingerscraps.net\/gsblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/1-1-500x376.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"451\" srcset=\"https:\/\/gingerscraps.net\/gsblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/1-1-500x376.jpg 500w, https:\/\/gingerscraps.net\/gsblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/1-1-768x577.jpg 768w, https:\/\/gingerscraps.net\/gsblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/1-1-771x580.jpg 771w, https:\/\/gingerscraps.net\/gsblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/1-1.jpg 1201w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Once the all-in-one is in your <strong>Photo Bin<\/strong>, I recommend opening a <strong>New Project\/canvas<\/strong> [<strong>CTRL\/CMD&gt;N<\/strong>] to create your text in a clean, no-distraction space. It will show in your <strong>Photo Bin<\/strong>, as well as in the strip across the top of the <strong>Elements<\/strong> workspace. Click <strong>Edit&gt;Paste<\/strong> or use the keyboard shortcut <strong>CTRL\/CMD&gt;V<\/strong>. It&#8217;s just that easy. Follow the same steps to add the rest of your letters. Once you&#8217;ve got all your letters on the canvas, they&#8217;ll need to be organized and distributed, because <strong>Elements<\/strong> dumps EVERYTHING in the centre of the canvas, and not always in order. When you&#8217;re happy with it, you can <strong>Link<\/strong> or <strong>Merge<\/strong> [<strong>CTRL\/CMD&gt;E<\/strong>] all the layers so you can move the whole text box onto your layout. Then you can treat it as you do any of the embellishments you add to your layouts.
