Sneak Peek!

Hi everybody and Happy Thanksgiving!  Today is a special day to show thanks for what we are grateful for. I am so blessed for a wonderful, loving family here at home and at Gingerscraps.  I can’t believe we are at the end of the month already!!!  I have no idea where the time has gone, but I know it has gone by way to quickly.  So, before I take up too much of your day I want to share a few layouts with you that are from some great new kits that will be released on Friday.  Don’t forget that they will be on sale and while your there don’t forget to check out all the other sales that are going on for Black Friday.

 

New from Unforgettable Moments aren’t these lovely!  I am loving the dinosaurs and the earth tones.

What a sweet cutie!!

This layout is using a template by Pretty in Green, isn’t it great.  I just love the cluster work in this.

Here is a lovely layout using a new template from Pretty in Green. I really am digging the paper strips behind the picture. Courageous by Pretty in Green which is the kit that was used for this layout is already in the store.  Isn’t it beautiful!!

Here is a great kit that will help you catch up with some October layouts in case you have fallen behind.  It looks great!  I really like that haunted house.

Adorable Pixels did a great job with this kit.  I love the green in this kit!  What a fun way to celebrate winter traditions.  That green garland is superb. I have the perfect pictures for this.

The layered look of this layout is perfect and would you look at that glitter wordart….looks lovely!

Challenge Spotlight – Desktop Challenge

Hey howdy hey and happy turkey day! How is it already Thanksgiving? Where did the year go?! The weather is FINALLY cooling off here in Texas and the winter holidays are quickly approaching! As I like to say, it’s the super bowl of crafting and scrapping! 😀 This week I am spotlighting a challenge with a freebie, the desktop challenge hosted by Ivonne of Craft-tastrophic Designs! I really, really like her template for this month’s desktop challenge!

Challenge Spotlight – Color Challenge

Hey everyone and happy Tuesday! Sorry I missed you last week, I was sick something wicked: 101 fever, body aches, chills–the whole nine yards. It’s going around, so I guess that means fall and winter are finally coming to the south, right? Yay, I’m tired of 90 degree days! I’m ready to load up the fireplace, cuddle up in my warm winter pajamas and scrap the nights away! To get you in the fall state of mind, this week I am spotlighting the color challenge hosted by JoyLynn of Blue Heart Scraps and she’s chosen a color palette perfect for the new season! Take a look:

I love the warm, earth tones with the pretty blues for a bit of a cool touch. This is definitely an excellent palette to get you started scrapping some of your new (or old!) fall photos. With a lovely color challenge like this, the ladies in the forum have already gone to town creating some really lovely layouts. If you want some inspiration, you’ve got it!

I just love the colors in this layout done from Adorable Pixels new kit.  I can’t believe it’s almost that time of year!!

I love these desktops that have been done as well.  There is nothing like a well decorated desktop:)

Here is one using Neverland Scraps (template is Digeasy Templates vol.1 by Matilda Designs) I  love the plaid paper and the colors are perfect for some fall photots.

Challenge Spotlight – Template Challenge #2

To start, I want to take a moment to send well wishes and good thoughts to those being affected and those with family/friends being affected by Hurricane Sandy. This is the last week of October–can’t believe it–so we’re down to the wire and this is my last spotlight of the month! This week I am highlighting a challenge with a freebie: the second template challenge hosted by Rebecca of Twin Mom Scraps! Rebecca has come up with such a cute little template for us to work with; check it out!

I love the circular photo spots and the scalloped edge. Awesome; thank you Rebecca! 🙂 I’m looking through the layouts done with this template and there are just so many beautiful ones! Seriously, you gals have outdone yourselves this time–you’re making it hard for me to pick just three to highlight! Lol! To make it a little easier on myself, I picked some spooky-themed layouts since tomorrow is Halloween! Take a look at these for some inspiration with this template:
