Challenge Spotlight – Color Challenge

Hello all, hope this finds you doing well this rainy week in June (at least in Texas). 🙂 This week I am spotlighting the color challenge hosted by Ivonne of Craft-tastrophic Designs. Ivonne has picked out a really funky, retro color palette for you to scrap with this month and it’s definitely 70s-inspired; check it out:

I am loving the teal and orange combo! It’s a great palette for scrapping all those masculine layouts that you still want to have a pop of bright color in. If you want a little inspiration, take a look at some of the layouts the forum ladies have already created for this challenge:

Sneak Peek 6-14-13

Hey Scrappers!  I have been so busy this week trying to get everything done before school lets out on Friday.  We are all so excited, but we are doing a little home remodeling so I have been a bit crazy:) I hope everyone has had a fabulous week and I have a TON of goodies to share with you.  So here we go.

Violamoni has a great kit coming on Friday.  I can’t wait to see the entire thing!

 

OK so…..I have been lucky enough to see this kit and it is awesome!   I can’t wait for you guys to see the whole thing:)

Inspired Designs has a really nice kit and I know your gonna love it.  Just look at all the eye candy. I love all the papers and check out the word art signs.

and a great desktop done for this months challenge.

The buffet Just Like Dad by various designers is a super buffet this month  and using Craft-tastrophic really just shows it off perfectly.

Colie’s Corner has a super  fun kit coming and I Love EVERYTHING about it!!  I can’t wait to get my hands on it.  Check it out and see what you think!

Challenge Spotlight – Inspiration Challenge

Good morning, all! Hope this finds you well. 🙂 This week I am spotlighting a fun little challenge I sometimes forget about but always end up loving: the inspiration challenge hosted this month by Isabel of Crisdam Designs! Here’s the inspiration image:

The goal is easy: use pennants/banners in your layout! Banners are so on trend right now for both digital scrapping and traditional paper crafting, so this is a cinch! I personally love banners and pennants; they are a great way  to add extra layers and depth without much effort! Check out these layouts to get your creative juices flowing…

Sneak Peek 6-6-13

Hello Scrappers!  I hope everyone is doing well.  I don’t know about where you live , but it is finally starting to feel like Summer here.  The days are getting longer and the kids are getting restless with school.  I can’t believe we only have a week left.  I think everybody around here is looking forward to the summer break.

Don’t forget that Father’s Day is coming up very quickly and I have a few layouts to share with you.  Pretty In Green has a terrific looking kit coming out on Friday.  It will be perfect for all those moments that are shared with all the special dads out there.  I love the bears, they are adorable!

I can’t wait to see the entire kit by VialoMoni.  I love the bright colors and I’m really excited to play with it.

Well, I’m going to head out and try to get as much done as I can the next few days before the kids are out for good.  I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and I hope you guys enjoy all the goodies that the designers have for you that are being released on Friday.  See ya next week!

Challenge Spotlight – Signature Challenge

Good morning, all! Hope your week is off to a great start; can you believe it’s now June?! It’s crazy to think that we’re already in the middle of the year, summer starting up…Christmas will be here before you know it! 😉

This week I am spotlighting a super quick, super easy challenge: the signature challenge hosted by Rebecca of Twin Mom Scraps! Usually we just have a theme to follow, but Rebecca has created a way cool template for us to work with this month instead! Sometimes I lack creativity with my forum siggy, so I love this! Take a look:

Awesome; thanks for the fun siggy temp, Rebecca! 🙂 I think the signature challenge is the first one most people do because it’s quick and fun. (Personally, I haven’t changed my sig since January…maybe this is the month to fix that!) Here’s some of the siggys the forum gals have come up with; they’re so bright and summery!

These are so awesome! Since the siggy area is somewhat small, this template is a great way to get your creative juices flowing here but still stay within the space–pretty great, right? 🙂

Sneak Peek 5-30-13

Hey Scrappers!  How are you doing this week?  I can’t wait to scrap some of our pictures from our Memorial Day weekend.  We kept our get together very small this year but,  our memories of all that have served and sacrificed for this great Nation were in our thoughts.

I have a few things for you to take a peek at….I can hardly wait to show them to you so here we go.

This kit from Aprilisa Designs  looks like it will be perfect for all the cookout and summertime fun pictures.  I love the papers and I just love the little hamburger and popsicle elements. This is way too cute!!!

This layout just shows off the other wonderful elements in this kit.  Great job ladies!!

I love the look of this sneak peek by Violamoni.  The color are so soft and sweet.  I love the little tag that says message in a bottle. I can’t wait to see the entire kit.

Hello ladies and welcome to the last challenge spotlight for the month of May–WHAT?! Yes, I can’t believe June is going to be here next week. Where in the heck did the first half of this year go? Even crazier, I just realized this month also marks ten years since my high school graduation. Time really flies! Before the last week of May flies off, make sure you join us for a last few challenges to earn yourself a shiny new reward!
