Challenge Spotlight ~ March 4th

How did it end up being March already? But since it is March, that means there’s a new collab kit to earn! How do you earn it? That’s easy! You just participate in 10 of our challenges and you will receive this awesome collab!

Once you have completed 10 challenges and recorded them in our tracking thread, you will be private messaged the code to grab the kit at the beginning of next month! It’s that easy! One of the first challenges I like to complete is the Buffet Challenge. Usually I have bought a few new kits from the fabulous Buffet and I am eager to use them!

Challenge Spotlight February 25

Good Morning everyone! There’s only 3 days left until the end of the month! But that’s plenty of time to complete some challenges to earn the fabulous collab kit offered this month! This month I tried a challenge I had never tried before. I mainly work with templates but I decided to try my hand at scraplifting! This month’s Scraplift Challenge is hosted by Jill from Created by Jill. She chose two wonderful LO’s from our members for anyone to try their hand at scraplifting. Now this is not trying to recreate the LO exactly as it is, this is so you can pick one or several techniques, colors, clustering or elements to recreate with your own flair!

Here are the two LO’s she picked for us to scraplift. They are linked to the gallery so go and leave some love if you find them as stunning as I do!

I was attracted to the first page and here is my scraplift LO:

I loved the photomask and the soft splatters in the background of the first LO. I enjoyed this challenge and some of our other members put their spins on the scraplift as well! Here is more inspiration from the challenge!

Challenge Spotlight February 18th

How has everyone been? I hope everyone had a great weekend! It was a three day weekend in the US and I had lots of time for scrapping! I hope everyone else did as well! This week’s challenge spotlight is the new Template Challenge hosted by Little Rad Trio. You get a great free template to play with and by completing this challenge, along with 9 others, you can earn a fabulous collab from our wonderful designers!

Challenge Spotlight February 11

Happy Tuesday! We are a few days away from Valentines/Single Awareness Day? Any special plans for the night? Valentines Day is not big at our house since our wedding anniversary is two days later. Somehow I always end up with a card =). Today’s featured challenge is the Mix It Up Challenge. I love this Challenge since it is never the same twice. This month it is hosted by Sherry Ferguson! She has challenged us to make a page about the ones we love using song lyrics. This challenge is perfect for a LO about the special people/pets in our lives.

Remember we have a new Challenge System in place! Complete 10 challenges and get an awesome collab from out wonderful designers! Each month there is a different kit! Here is February’s:

Challenge Spotlight February 4th

It’s already February! Which means there’s a new challenge collab you can earn!

It’s simple to earn, just complete 10 challenges and then record them in the February tracking thread.

Today I am spotlighting the Signature Challenge hosted by Theresa by Simple Girl Scraps. This is usually the first challenge I like to complete. This months challenge is to create a Valentines, romantic, love, etc theme.

Happy Tuesday! I hope you are keeping warm and maybe you got a snow day like my husband did! Today is a perfect day to stay in and scrap! You have a few more days to get your 10 challenges done to get an awesome Collab kit!

Today’s Challenge is the Designer Spotlight Challenge and this month the designer being spotlighted is Rachael from Seatrout Scraps! This challenge is pretty straight forward, make a LO using 90% Seatrout Scraps products. You can use freebies from Seatrout Scraps (she usually has a template on her fb page) She even has a coupon code you can use to get some of her awesome kits!

Challenge Spotlight- December 17

Happy Tuesday! Can you believe we only have 8 days until Christmas! Plus we only have 15 days until the New Year! Where has the time gone! With the holidays in full swing, is everyone ready? I feel quite accomplished this year! I only have a couple more gifts to buy and I am done! Even though everything is busy, there are times to chill out and scrap! There’s 2 weeks left to get some challenges done! That means two more weeks to make some layouts and earn some great rewards for the new year!

This week’s Challenge you should consider is the Mini Kit Challenge! This month is it hosted by Jennifer of Little Rad Trio and she has a great mini kit to use to make a Layout! You get a free kit to use! What a sweet deal!

Isn’t it beautiful! I always love this challenge and the kits our fabulous designers make specifically for this challenge! Here are a few of the submissions that stood out!

I usually only choose 3 but I had to choose 4 this time! This kit has been used for many awesome layouts! And there’s still two weeks left to make a layout with your pics!

I love the two toned photo here!

I love the simplicity of this one and the small cluster on the picture!

This one spoke to me since I spent most of my winters like this being a Floridian.

I love the clusters and the idea behind this photo!

I hope these Layouts have inspired you as much as they have me! I know the next challenge I will be completing! Remember in order to get our wonderful rewards, you must complete a tracking thread! Happy Scrapping Ladies!

Challenge Spotlight December 10th

Happy Tuesday Ladies! I hope your weekend was as great as mine! My football team is going to the National Championships! (GO NOLES!) and my son didn’t cry too much when we went to see Santa! I also made quite a few layouts! Today I am spotlighting the Font Challenge which Love Ewe Designs is hosting this month. She found an awesome font to use in a layout.

I am seriously in love with the font “Are You Freakin’ Serious?” I think it might be my new favorite! This is a hand written font. But it is much better than my own sloppy handwriting which is why I love to use them! This font is so versatile! It will be so easy to use this font for any layout that is on your list to make! And making a layout for the challenge puts you one step closer to earning our great monthly rewards!

There are so many wonderful layouts already made for this challenge, it was hard for me to pick three! But here is a little inspiration for you!

I just love the facial expressions!
