Sorry about last week. things were crazy, but even with the extra week, I still only got one comment from the last challenge spotlight. SO crinkletoast won again! C’mon people give her a little competition! Though I doubt she minds here’s what she won!

Spotlight time! This week we are going to spotlight Jodi’s Scraplift Challenge! What’s a scraplift you maybe wondering? You simply find a LO by someone else and copy the format of it, changing it however you like. I’ll tell you what I do this ALL the TIME! I’m not nearly as creative as people think I am. I love getting inspiration from all the other talented scrappers out there! Here’s an example from Jodi’s challenge:

Challenge Spotlight – Feb. Page Recipe

So sorry I missed ya all yesterday. I was busy doing my special Valentine’s dinner for my hubby. I was a baking machine! Anyway here I am to give the prize to our winner of last weeks challenge spotlight. and the winner is……..LuLutoo! Yay! Did you like the neon alpha? Now on to our spotlight! Becka’s Feb. Page Recipe! In the page recipe challenge Becka gives you 5 “ingrediants” for your page then you build your page around those required things. It’s a fantastic way to break out of scrapping slumps!

Here’s Becka’s recipe this month:
1 wordart
2 pictures – framed, unframed, blended – it’s up to you!
3 papers – the background paper is one, others can be layered like paper strips, squares, or circles
4 fasteners – staples, buttons, stitches, etc
5 different elements but one of them has to be a heart (in honor of Valentine’s Day)
