July Featured Designers

Welcome to July. We have TWO fabulous designers featured this month, Leaving a Legacy Designs and Ponytails Designs. They were both gracious enough to answer some fun questions for us this month, so let’s just jump right in. First we’ll chat with Kimberly of Leaving a Legacy Designs.

Now, let’s talk to Natasha of Ponytails Designs.

I had a couple of really great teachers that I admired in high school. One was my English teacher and the other my English Lit teacher. They both taught me so much and were really great people.

What is the one thing that makes you happy despite any mood?

Sunshine, and hearing my little one’s laugh. It’s completely infectious.

Do you have any tattoos? If yes what and where are they- If no do you want any and what would you get?

Ugh… yes I do! I have a ying-yang symbol on my upper left shoulder/back area, a butterfly on my left hip, and a Celtic design toe ring on my right second toe. I got them all for a reason but now that I’m not exactly in my 20’s anymore, I kind of wish I didn’t have them. The toe ring I see all the time of course, but the other two I can’t see unless I’m looking in the mirror. I’ll catch a glimpse of one in a photo every so often and it always surprises me. I king of forget they’re there.

Name one television character that you simply adore?

Sheldon from Big Bang Theory. He’s hilarious!

Thanks Natasha!! Jump over and check our her GS Store, Facebook Page, Blog, and Pinterest.

Also, both designers have added a coupon to various days of the Daily Download. The sneak peek looks absolutely fabulous.

Challenge Spotlight – Kathryn’s Pop Quiz

Happy (hot) Tuesday. I hope everyone has had a great June so far. Today’s challenge spotlight is on Kathryn Estry’s Pop Quiz? Have you been participating in this one or a little scared to see what it’s about? Each month Kathryn will give you a set of questions to answer. Based on your answers, she will give you instructions on what to do with your layout. For example, June’s questions:

Instructions: Answer each question with one and only one answer. Copy and paste these questions in this thread, adding your answer under each question. Shortly after you’ve posted (or as soon as I’m back at my computer), you’ll receive a Private Message from me. You’ll then be able to make your layout based on the information I send to you. Remember, each question must have exactly one answer, give your most honest responses, and don’t skip any questions.

June: Pool Party!
Answer the questions as if you were really hosting a pool party.

1. Will you wear a 1-piece suit or a 2-piece suit?
2. You’re decorating with flowers. What one color are you using the most?
3. Will your guests be primarily family or mostly friends?
4. Choose one: hamburgers or steaks?
5. Will there be more or less than 6 children at the party?
6. Choose one: water volleyball or squirt guns?
7. Choose one: go off of the high dive or float in the shallow water?

Sounds fun, right? Here are some of the submissions for far.

Don’t forget, when you complete 10 challenges, you get the following kit as a reward:

Head on over and join in Kathyrn’s Pop Quiz Pool Party!!
