Hello Bloggy Friends in Digi-land!
My name is Laura and I’m on the store CT here at Gingerscraps!
Today I’m stepping in for Julie and hosting the “Let’s get crafty” edition!I have an awesome tutorial for you and I’m pretty sure you already have most of the supplies needed lying around your house!
These button bracelets are super easy and fun to make. You can also make them to coordinate with your favorite outfit!
Leave an overlap of about an inch on either side. Mark it with a pencil so you know where to sew it together.
Then line up your buttons next to it so you know where you want to place them.
*I decided after I took this picture that I wanted my buttons to overlap a little bit. If you want to try this instead, just overlap them a bit instead of a straight line as pictured below*
Now you want to sew your ends together. Use the pencil mark as a guide and start sewing it together. You can also use a lighter on the ends to keep from fraying.
It should look something like this when you are finished.
Now it’s time to sew the buttons on! Start with the one in the middle and work your way out…..
To secure the button to the elastic, loop it through a few times underneath and then create a knot as shown here….
See how I’ve overlapped my buttons a bit? Cute eh?!
Here is the almost finished product….
And there you have it! Finito!

Hi there!
I hope you are having a great weekend! We are busy getting ready for Easter tomorrow. I’ve got to get the house all cleaned up since we are having dinner here. We had a nice little surprise of a snow dusting this morning! Gotta love New Hampshire weather! 🙂 So now I’m hoping that the sun will maybe come out this afternoon and dry up the yard for tomorrow!
Anyhow – I’m off to get busy and here’s your next part:
Shopping and Movies and Cleaning oh my! That was my week with the boys home on vacation. I can say though having them home actually allowed me time to sit and scrap. Maybe not a lot, but I did mention to do a few layouts. Do you all have problems trying to schedule time to get your layouts scrapped like I do? I need to figure out a way to get it all done, besides adding more hours to the day. If you know how to add more hours to the day please let me know.
Since we can’t add more hours to the day then you have to make sure you find time to buy our new releases. I mean you are going to want them anyway, and why not get them for 25%. Plus just like always, you get a free grab bag just for spending $10 in the store. What is better then that?
