Fresh Baked: August 15, 2014

Good morning! Can you believe we’re already HALFWAY through August? Crazy! The designers seem to have gone a little design happy, as well, because there are some GREAT goodies! Including a NEW DESIGNER! The GS family is growing again!

Before I get to the goodies, I have to share a few of the awesome layouts I spotted in the gallery, using this month’s Buffet and Monthly Mix, “It’s All Relative”.

Created by melissavt. I love the circle pieces/cut-outs, and I love the hearts and bottle caps layered over them! A completely delicious layout.

Created by msbrad. I love the pictures! Those grabbed my attention. The colors in them mesh so well with the kit! The clusters are wonderful!

We asked her, as we do all our new designers, to tell us a little about herself, and this is what she had to share:

Hi, I’m Dani Scrapper also known as Dani Alencar on digiland. I have been scrapbooking for almost 11 years. I started as a paper scrapper back in 2003. I admit to have turned up my nose at the digital version at first because as a paper scrapper I loved the depth, texture, hidden journaling, being able to touch all the details. However, after much insistence of my friends I gave in and started experimenting with Photoshop exactly 3 years later. And it became another passion because I realized it was less messy, much cheaper, more practical and less time consuming, the perfect combination for a mother who works full time as a coordinator at a language school. One year after starting my digital adventure, some friends insisted that I should be a designer and then a new adventure began in 2007. After a hiatus period of almost 2 years due to my job at the school, I am back to scrapbooking and designing digital kits and other products since Sep, 2013. My style is paper/realistic.
