Bio:

I am a mom of two college-aged daughters. I began my scrapbooking journey while they were very young. I found myself constantly photographing their childhood and wanting to cherish every special moment. In doing so I learned of digital scrapbooking and became connected with it as I held a previous passion for art and was inspired by how I could combine my many photos with beautiful graphics to relive and preserve these memories. In later years I’ve ventured off into some other creative projects but I found myself missing my roots of digiscrap, so I’m very happy to be back as a guest here at GingerScraps.

Bio:
Hi! I’m Adrienne and the face behind Adrienne Skelton Designs. You may know me under ACM Designs back in the mid 2000’s. I sold at Gotta Pixel and Divine Digital and DigiScrap Warehouse. I started designing back in the late 90’s when my kids were growing up. I could not afford to buy paper scrapbook items so I would design using Paint Shop Pro and then print them out to make my Scrapbook pages. Back then I didn’t know about digital scrapbooking. I had to quit designing in 2011 because of health reasons. Started back designing again last year in 2021.

A little bit more about me: I was born and raised here in Missouri. I have been married to my husband (Gordy) now since 2010. I have 3 Wonderful Boys: Ryan (31) Brendan (28) and Wil (25) 2 of which are out of the house with families of their own. 1 Still lives here with us, and a Grams to 1 boy (Landon) Almost 2 now. Also can’t forget to add my 3 Cats Smokey, Sammy, and Stormy!

I used to design a lot of commercial use items back in the day, but have now focused on more kits than Commercial Use, but my favorite things to design are grungy overlays, blended papers, page edges, brushes, stamps and more. I am an artist in my spare time and I love to put paint to canvas, oil, acrylic and watercolor including mixed media.

Cindy Ritter Designs

Bio:
Hi! I am Cindy Ritter. I am the mother of 2 grown children and grandma to an amazing grandson with ASD who I have raised since birth. I studied graphic design in the 1980s before computers were used in design, and worked as a graphic designer just long enough to learn that the corporate world is no place for a free spirit like me. I spent the majority of my career working as a floral designer and love all things green and blooming. I started designing in 2007 and loved being part of the scrapping community but needed an extended hiatus to care for my health and homeschool my grandson. He is a teenager now, back in public school and involved in competitive swimming and I am so excited to be back designing! I have an old school approach to my designs and my style is eclectic and a lot of thought goes into the usability of each product. My design style is a unique mix of whimsical, crafty, grungy, shabby & art journal with lots of color. I live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and enjoy drawing, painting, Photoshop, music, going to the beach, swimming, baking, container gardening, playing cards and board games with my grandson and spending time with my family and our two precious kittens Bowie and Ziggy.

Not only do we have the wonderful Buffet and other first of the month goodies, it’s also Friday and that means Fresh Baked goodies too!

Hello, my name is Katina Curten, but I’m also known as The Scrappy Kat. I have been a digital scrapbooking designer since May of 2009. You may remember me from my 2 previous stores, Stuff to Scrap and Scraps N Pieces. Once those stores closed, I took a 5 year hiatus to raise my son. Now that he is a teenager and I have more time on my hands, I am back to designing. Elizabeth’s Market Cross

Bio:
Hi! I’m Elizabeth! I grew up in Florida and I’ve lived in Georgia for many years, but I feel like I belong in England (and my DNA results agree). My store name – Market Cross – comes from the historical structures that served as trading markers, usually in a town centre. People would buy and sell wares at the designated market cross – such as the ‘Poultry Cross’ or the ‘Butter Cross’ – you get the idea!
I’ll always be a dog lover, but my favorite non-pet animals are crocodiles and alligators. I am also passionate about decluttering and organizing and I’m a certified organizing specialist!
One of my favorite design elements would be edge overlays; I use them on most of my layouts. You can stack them, recolor them, reverse or flip them – so many options! I have plenty to choose from in my shop, but I really love the ones called Gold Rush because the metallic shine really stands out against dark backgrounds.

This is Lisa from Designs by Lisa Minor. I am excited about my first guest spot at GingerScraps, however, I am not new to the world of digital scrapbooking. For over 10 years I did paper scrapping before discovering the amazing digital world. I now have more than 20 years of digital scrapbooking experience and 17 years as a designer. I turned from scrapbooking to designing and certainly found my passion. I love designing! My kits are full of elements and papers, because sometimes, I just can’t turn off the creativity. My goal is to make each of my kits the perfect instrument for any occasion. My husband and 4 adult children, 3 sons and 1 daughter, are my inspiration for many aspects of life including digital scrapbooking. My husband and I are blessed to have celebrated 34 years of marriage and to have our children nearby or with us in Texas. As my social media exhibits, my family appears often with glimpses of the 75 page family digital book I design each year.
