Wow…Thursday…I’m totally unprepared forLet’s get Crafty today! Even after Steph posted last week! I’m still not prepared. Since I am such a flake 🙂 For this weeks Let’s Get Crafty I am going to just feature a challenge from Gingerscraps! It’s is a crafty challenge though 🙂 The “Candy Wrapper Challenge” is our “Hybrid” challenge! Now that is crafty right! Hybrid crafts are great! Cute name too huh. Shannon came up with that one, she is so clever!

For the month of March the hybrid challenge is so easy! I made it nice and simple so everyone could play along!

So, for march we are actually doing something pretty easy…although, some of you have probably never used your digi scrapping supplies to make “Home Decor” I do it all the time! Hey, these kits are so cute. Why not show them off in your home!
You can get very elaborate with these home decor projects, or they can be as simple as making a “LO” and printing, framing and putting on your wall.
So, let’s start with EASY! Printing, Framing and Hanging on the wall! Any one can do it!
Here is a real simple idea. Take a frame, maybe one that you go buy, or one that is sitting around your house. I have one in my dining room that I put some Valentines day “Digi Artwork” in for the month of Feb. I liked it so much I decided to replace the Artwork monthly for holidays or seasons.

So, your challenge for the month is to get some kind of digi design up in your house somewhere! Anyway you like. you can go the easy way like I did or make something else! Just get some Hybrid juice flowing!

Oh, hey I just thought of something cute to share with you for St. Pattys Day! I guess this post will have a little project..lol..funny how I just though of this! Last night my daughter had to make “Something Sweet” and take photos of it for her 12th grade photography class. With is being St. Patty’s Day she decided to make these…

The ingerdients…Marshmellows, White Choc Chips, yellow Food coloring and Green Sprinkles!

Melt the chocolate chips, add some yellow food coloring, dip the marshmallow in the melted chocolate and sprinkle on the green! Done! Sweet and cute!! Display them in a cute container with some little decorations. (I used my St. Pattys Day Felties.) It looks like a party! 🙂

Wouldn’t your kids love to have this for a special St. Pattys Day treat!

Please pardon the interruption but there is some very exciting news that just can’t wait until Friday’s New Release newsletter. How do I know this can’t wait? Well, I’ve been spring cleaning my house. It started with the painting I told you about on Friday, then turned into closets, bathrooms, light fixtures, etc. Oh yes, I’ve been bitten by the spring cleaning bug. My house looks great, but me? I’m exhausted. Anyway, I stopped the cleaning to tell you this news!

We have a new designering joining us! Yup!! Ivonne (aka Craft-tastrophic Designs) is joining us!!

We asked her to tell us about herself and this is what she said:

Hi! My name is Ivonne and I´m the designer behind Craft-tastrophic Designs.

I live in Monterrey, Mexico and I´m a pediatrician. I´ve been married to Jorge almost for 14 years, plus 6 more as a couple, plus 4 more as friends. We have a beautiful daughter 5 years old who is the protagonist in almost every one of my LOs. I love everything craft!!! and in july 2009 started digital design and Craft-tastrophic was born…

Well we’ve hit just about halfway through March. It’s time for that weather to be lamb-like right? Well outside my window it is pouring & both my kiddos have developed a cough. I feel like it’s been one illness after another for 3 months. Sheesh. But on the upside it is Monday and that means time for the Challenge Spotlight! But first we need a winner from last week! I’m a day late posting the LOTW winner, but that doesn’t mean I didn’t like it!! It just means I had a sick little one and he didn’t want to share me with my computer for any longer. I am hoping it’s only allergies for him this time, but whatever it is, extra special cuddles help him feel better.

Hi…no that doesn’t sound right. Happy Friday..no, that is over-used. Gosh, I can’t figure out how to start this newsletter anymore. Maybe I’ll just jump right in and tell you what my plans are this weekend. There is a reason for it so you’ll just have to suffer through my long boring plans…hehe. Actually we have exciting plans. We are going to be painting the boys’ bedroom. My oldest wanted the room to be red. Yeah, his favorite color. My middle son wanted green. They all finally agreed on blue. That is all well and good but do you know how many different shades of blue there are? Too many. Finally we agreed, something called Summer Splash.
