Happy July! We’re in the second half of 2015 already! Craziness! Summer’s

It is the First of the month, and that means the revel of our new Buffet!! Don’t forget the new Buffet items will all be 50% off (from the 1-5th of the month)!

The designers all had their own take on what the colors and theme said to them! I love the variety!

The designers knocked it out of the park. The designs are just amazing and so well done!

The CT did such a great job showing how well all of the kits blend. They all did wonderful work!

Lisa of Kelsey {Inspired} Studios

I love hearing about our new designers, and Lori was no different! Here’s what she had to share with us:

My name is Lisa Kelsey and I go by kelseyll everywhere in digiland. After being a secondary teacher and gymnastics coach for 12 years I stepped out of my classroom to finally be a mom! My husband and I had tried for nearly 10 years including some fertility treatments to no avail until one day one of my high school girls walked into my room and asked if we would adopt her baby!! She had graduated the year before and was 5 months along so we didn’t have much time to get the paperwork together. What she didn’t know is in that moment I knew we had our answer to so many years of prayers! The whole story is quite amazing and could be a movie on the Lifetime movie network! It is hard to believe that happened 10 years ago now. Kaitlyn will turn 10 on July 31st and is the subject of most of my scrapping. She is our angel and we have a great relationship with both biological parents and their families. Kaitlyn gets to see each of them a couple times a year, but with texting, Facebook, etc. she really has as much access as she wants!
I am enjoying being at home and have taught classes online and scored state tests at times, but I keep pretty busy with making the school’s yearbook and taking pics of all the events as well as my CT and Designer duties. We lost my dad this past year so my mom moved in with us last summer. My husband had major back surgery on June 16th so currently I am the only driver in the house! I feel fortunate that I don’t have to juggle a full time job outside of the home right now so I can focus on my family’s needs.
Like many people I read about in the forums I started paper scrapping long before it was popular and only switched to digital when the quality met my high expectations. I started out using SBC but quickly “outgrew” it as I felt limited while trying to design. I’m glad I made the leap to PS and am still learning this program. Designing has really helped me with new tricks and techniques. I love that I can share this hobby with so many fellow “addicts” and I’ve met some truly amazing and wonderful friends from all over the world. I am really excited to guest with GS this month and get to know the community here better!
