The wind has blown all the leaves off the trees. The aisles of stores are starting to smell like a mixture of pumpkin pie, gingerbread cookies, and apple cinnamon. The smells of fall and winter, mixing all together, I love this time of year.
Children are getting excited for the chance to knock on neighbors doors and say “Trick Or Treat”. Teenagers are deciding if it’s worth the hassle of dressing up to get some candy, or seeing if they can just snag some from the bowl when they help their parents greet the trick-or-treaters. Parents are talking to their kids about safety and about their own Halloweens with their parents.
Instead of finding some layouts using the buffet, we have a new Monthly Mix out. It’s called Dia de Los Muertos. It truly fits the mood of the next few days, I think, whether you celebrate Halloween or not. Whether you participate in the Day of the Dead festivals that occur. The colors are bright, fun, and it’s just a great kit, all around.
