Happy August! The month of so many wonderful things! Chocolate Chip Cookie Day! Apples. Back to school prep! The days start getting a little shorter, and the nights start to get a little cooler. There’s something special about August!

The designers all had their own take on what the colors and theme said to them! I love the variety!
The designers definitely each made the palette their own and came up with some gorgeous designs, each unique but working so well with the other designers’ creations

Hey friends! I’m so excited to be joining Gingerscraps as a guest designer for August. My name is Jenni and I live in North Carolina with my husband and 2 teenage daughters, whom I homeschool. When I started teaching my girls 11 years ago, I wanted to provide them with fun, creative hands-on projects. So I decided to try using Photoshop to create cute thematic printables that complimented our curriculum. With a passionate for colors, patterns and visual artistry, I found the move towards working in design was a natural fit. I soon started adding graphics to everything that came out of my printer! Encouraged by my friends and family, I started sharing my designs with others in 2007 and shortly thereafter accepted a position as a professional digital scrapbooking designer. I have now been designing for 10 years and specialize in creating fun, thematic resources for scrapbooking, crafting and curriculum development. In my free time—which is a rare treat since I am also pursuing my Master’s degree in Special Education—I love to drink coffee, pet my Boston Terrier, watch cancelled sitcoms, scrapbook and take naps.
