Fresh Baked: September 01, 2018

It’s September and the year is almost over. A new season is about to begin and another crazy month of weird holidays is upon us. What are some of the weird holidays we can look forward to experiencing? This week is National Enthusiasm Week! Make sure you speak in lots of exclamation points!

It is the First of the month, and that means the reveal of our new Buffet!!

The designers all had their own take on what the colors and theme said to them! I love the variety!

The designers definitely each made the palette their own and came up with some gorgeous designs, each unique but working so well with the other designers’ creations

The CT did such a great job showing how well all of the kits blend. They all did wonderful work!

Lori, of Moore Blessings Digital Design, is one!

Here’s what she had to tell us about herself:

I am Lori Moore, retired school teacher and avid crafter. I now homeschool my step-children and teach homeschool tutorials. I have an awesome husband and am step-mom to his four children. We have a 2 yr. old grandson, Archer.
While I have been scrapbooking (paper and digital) for over 15 years, I am new to the world of digital design. In the beginning, I used to draw elements, scan them in the computer, and use them in my pages. I stared this as a preschool teacher, who felt that every child needed a scrapbook of memories. Every year I would do a separate scrapbook for 20 children.
After retiring, I suffered a stroke and I lost most of my drawing ability. Through that, I learned to draw digitally and extract my photography for elements and backgrounds. With designer mentors, I learned to do much more, and here I am.
Other than photography and crafting, I enjoy gardening, sewing/quilting, cooking, canning, and caring for all of my animals (5 dogs, 2 cats, & 7 hens).
While I love all styles of design, from antiquities to modern art, I hope you can see a bit of who I am in my design.

Jenn had a little to share with us!

Hello! I’m Jenn of Shepherd Studio. Many of you may remember me as scrapbook designer many moons ago under the name JennCk Designs. I hung up my designer hat many years ago and ran a series of companies in my field of Applied Science up until a back injury a few years ago. After that, I opened a planner sticker shop on Etsy which allowed me to continue to work on a more limited basis and still feel mentally productive. I’ve been a creative team member for over a decade, so it feels great to come back to my roots and bring my designs to GingerScraps. Thank you all for having me. XOXO
