Boy is it cold.  Oh, sorry.  Hi!  How are you?  I forgot my manners for a minute.  We received 2 feet of snow in 24 hours and we are still shoveling out of it.  Yes, that is 1 inch an hour – crazy huh?  Well, actually it was over around 2pm so it was actually less.  Not that it matters, lots of snow is lots of snow.  My kids enjoyed a couple of days off because of the snow, and I’m happy to be sending them back today.  It was a great break, but now I have house stuff I need to get done.  That gets me wondering, is it ever really done?  Yeah, I didn’t think so.

Happy New Year Everyone!  We hope you had a great year and we hope that 2011 is even better for you.  Have you thought about resolutions?  I have…a lot actually.  I’ve thought about them for me personally, and I’ve thought about them for our site.   It is much easier coming up with them for the site because I know it will be more fun to keep them.

One of my resolutions for the site is to come up with a better challenges, and well, I did it and it isn’t even New Years yet!  Starting tomorrow (Jan 1) we will have a new way we run our challenges!  We want to give you bigger prizes and think this will be the best way!  If you do a challenge you will get an entry to win a $5 gift certificate to the store.  If you do a challenge using 75% Ginger Scraps products you can earn another entry!  The more challenges you do, the more entries you get!  At the end of the month all of the entries will be gathered and three randomly selected participants will receive a $5 gift certificate.  How awesome is that?

Merry Christmas!! And Happy Holidays!! My lovely Shannon is on vacation this week… and I almost forgot to do the FreshBaked newsletter this week. Yikes! lol.

I hope this newsletter finds you all healthy and happy. I have a house full of excited energy! My daughter, son, little doggie, and kitty are all bubbling with excitement for Christmas Morning tomorrow.

I woke up today at 6am today and couldn’t fall back asleep because, like most …. I was worried about a few bills.  When my son Chandler woke up at 7 he was shocked to see me awake.
