I’m back!  Did you miss me?  I missed you guys that was for sure.  Our vacation was perfect though.  The kids had a blast, the mountain views (in NH) were beautiful, and the shopping was fun.  We did so much up there but really the most fun was just looking at the mountains.  Gosh they were stunning.  Mother Nature just amazes me sometimes.  The worst part about all of this was coming home to the piles and piles of laundry.  Why can’t vacation end with a clean house and no laundry to come home to.

No more sleeps!  That’s right – today is the last day of school.  WOO!  Well, maybe not that exciting since the fighting has already started but phew for no more watching the clock.  Are you wondering what sleeps have to do with anything?  My youngest only understands time if we talk about sleeps (being nights).  He knows now that there are only 2 more sleeps until we go on vacation.  We aren’t going anywhere fancy or big (Disney would be nice but that won’t happen in this economy).   Just to get away from the day to day stuff and just enjoy being together as a family.  Now to hope the fighting stops before we leave.

Would you like to learn more about her?  I asked her to tell me a little bit about herself and this is what she had to say:

I am currently 35, married to my childhood sweetheart and we have two children, Jayden 10 and Ellie 7. Both tend to feature heavily in my layouts (Ellie more so as Jayden has now developed a photo allergy it seems). We live on the NW coast of England in a small town called Morecambe (if you’re familiar with Morecambe and Wise, this is where Eric Morecambe was born and where he took his name from). At the moment I’m not working – not through choice but the job market isn’t great at the moment – however, it does leave me plenty of time to scrap and design my templates.

I’ve only been selling my templates since May of this year after some pushing by friends to give it a go and I’ve really enjoyed it so far and am looking forward to joining the community at Gingerscraps.

When I’m not scrapping, I love reading anything crime fiction, going to the theatre and all things Disney (which incidentally is the reason I ended up discovering digi scrapping to begin with !)
