Challenge Spotlight – Buffet Challenge

Good morning everyone! It’s been quite some time since I blogged about our fabulous monthly challenges; I’ve been positively swamped with school and life, but I miss letting y’all know about the challenges and prizes and funfunfun! I think it’s time to get back on the horse, don’t you? 🙂

This week I will be spotlighting the buffet challenge hosted by Monica of ViolaMoni Designs! This month’s buffet theme was designer’s choice with a lovely fall-inspired palette to tie it all together. Here’s a fun YouTube video created to show off all the awesome buffet pieces!

If you haven’t grabbed any buffet pieces, head over to the store and get yourself a little treat. 😉 The only requirement for the buffet challenge is to use pieces from the buffet–any designer, in any way! Ok yes yes, I cheated and picked four layouts to highlight this time instead of three–I couldn’t help it! The designers made so many different themes this month, I had to show some off. We’ve got wine, gargoyles, pretty positivity and of course, Halloween! I love uniquely themed kits to scrap specific life moments and this month’s buffet has several! 🙂

We’re already a week into the month, so if you haven’t started your post in the October 2013 Tracking Thread, now is the time to get the ball rolling! As always, all completed challenges earn you points towards a fabulous reward at the end of the month, so scrap scrap scrap!

Hello, and good morning lovely Gingerscrappers! It’s time for that time of the week! Fresh baked goodies! The designers seem to have Halloween and spooking on the brain, and it shows in the kits. Some are spooky, some are cute. They’re all wonderful though!

GingerScraps has a Facebook Group. Hello, and good morning lovely Gingerscrappers! Today is October 1st, and that means you’re in for a great bake sale, a new buffet, new daily download, and even a new monthly mix! It’s going to be a wonderful month!

Remember this is a GingerScraps group, so please no other store product promotions.

October is all about getting ready for the cooler times, Halloween, and watching the leaves change color. There’s a little something for everyone in this month’s buffet, which is another Designer’s Choice!

We have NEW Buffet options!! You asked for it, and we listened! The GS Buffet will now included FULL size kits!! In addition to the mix and match packs, you can now also find full size kits in the buffet section. The price point has been adjusted accordingly. Everything in the Buffet will always be $4.00 and under. Every month the new Buffet items will all be 50% off (from the 1-5th of the month). That means Full kits for $2 and a ton of mix and match packs all for $1!! You will not want to miss this!

The designers all had their own take on what the colors said to them! I love the variety!

The designers knocked it out of the park. The designs are just amazing and so well done!

The CT did such a great job showing how well all of the kits blend. They all did wonderful work!

This is just a few of the layouts. Keep an eye out in future newsletters to see more. Maybe even one of yours, if you make sure you put it into the Buffet section of the gallery!

Happy Friday! The designers went all out! Fall is coming around, and the colors are showing in the designs! The colors of fall are strong in theme, and each kit is so unique and fun! It’ll be hard to choose a favorite, I promise you!

Created by cfalbro. When I saw this in the gallery, I wasn’t even sure it was from the Crisp Autumn series! I love how using a lighter paper can make the whole series look completely different!

Sneak Peek 9-5-13

Hey everybody! Well, it’s official school is under way here. The kids are excited to see all of their friends and meeting new teachers. This is such a fun and exciting time for everyone. Fall is right around the corner and the hayrides and bonfires are in the near future. I have a ton of layouts to share with you so let’s get started.

Our designers have been busy. I just love this kit from Wendy Tunison Designs. The colors are fantastic and I just love that mustache:)

Ponytails Designs has a ton of kits that are new and fabulous! Just take a look at all this goodness!

The following layout is using a template by M&M Designs. I love the banner and the paper with the martini glasses are superb!

If you have some left over baseball pictures to scrap than the kit that Keystone Scraps will be perfect for you. Blue Heart Scraps and M&M designs have some nice templates coming your way as well.

Luv Ewe Designs has a super kit coming and these layouts show it off perfectly. I love the new style and Locks of Love is a wonderful thing to be a part of.

The following page was done by using a template by M&M Designs. The kits that were used for this layout are Project 2013 by Connie Prince, Boys of Summer by Keystone Scraps and Crisp Autumn by the GS designers. I love the blocking and it is perfect for a weekly 365 layout.

If you love chocolate donuts and hot chocolate than this kit by Little Rad Trio is perfect for you.
