Happy Leap Day everyone! What are you doing with the extra day? I have to work today, so it’s not anything outside of a normal day. Our designers have some very springy kits coming out tomorrow. Let’s see some of the sneak peeks so you can be ready to shop tomorrow.

HAPPY DECEMBER!! We’re at the last few newsletters for 2013! The year is nearly over! That doesn’t mean the fun is going to end! Whether you’re doing December Daily, a layout a day, or what, you’ll find this month full of kits perfect for whatever you’re doing!
This month, there’s no official theme to the buffet. There’s a unifying color palette, and the kits play together beautifully. Enjoy the December 2013 {Designer’s Choice} buffet series this month!
We have NEW Buffet options!! You asked for it, and we listened! The GS Buffet will now included FULL size kits!! In addition to the mix and match packs, you can now also find full size kits in the buffet section. The price point has been adjusted accordingly. Everything in the Buffet will always be $4.00 and under. Every month the new Buffet items will all be 50% off (from the 1-5th of the month). That means Full kits for $2 and a ton of mix and match packs all for $1!! You will not want to miss this!
The designers all had their own take on what the colors and theme said to them! I love the variety!

Good morning everyone! It’s been quite some time since I blogged about our fabulous monthly challenges; I’ve been positively swamped with school and life, but I miss letting y’all know about the challenges and prizes and funfunfun! I think it’s time to get back on the horse, don’t you? 🙂
This week I will be spotlighting the buffet challenge hosted by Monica of ViolaMoni Designs! This month’s buffet theme was designer’s choice with a lovely fall-inspired palette to tie it all together. Here’s a fun YouTube video created to show off all the awesome buffet pieces!

If you haven’t grabbed any buffet pieces, head over to the store and get yourself a little treat. 😉 The only requirement for the buffet challenge is to use pieces from the buffet–any designer, in any way! The designers have created full kits, alphas, extras, templates and more for you, so you got lots to choose from! Check out some of the submissions we’ve got so far…

Ok yes yes, I cheated and picked four layouts to highlight this time instead of three–I couldn’t help it! The designers made so many different themes this month, I had to show some off. We’ve got wine, gargoyles, pretty positivity and of course, Halloween! I love uniquely themed kits to scrap specific life moments and this month’s buffet has several! 🙂
We’re already a week into the month, so if you haven’t started your post in the October 2013 Tracking Thread, now is the time to get the ball rolling! As always, all completed challenges earn you points towards a fabulous reward at the end of the month, so scrap scrap scrap!

Challenge Spotlight – Buffet Challenge

Howdy, ladies! How is your week going? This is my last week of freedom before school starts back up–eek–so I’m trying to get a bunch of scrapping in before I have to start hitting the books again! This week I am spotlighting a challenge I just completed this weekend, the buffet challenge hosted by Rachel of Harmonystar Designs! August’s buffet was designer’s choice with an awesome palette; there is seriously a ton included in the buffet, but here is just a little peek at some of the pieces:
So pretty, right? I have to say, when I first saw the palette, I was SO excited and the kits our designers came up with are just gorgeous! The buffet challenge has quickly become one of my favorites and the forum ladies have knocked it out of the park this month! Take a look for inspiration:

LOVE these pages! Make sure you take a moment to leave these ladies some love in the gallery because these layouts are fabulous. I picked pages that use different designers’ buffet pieces so you can really see the variety here. If your style is vintage, modern, bright, subtle–there’s something in this month’s buffet for you! Make sure you swing by the store and check out all the buffet goodies. 🙂
There’s just over a week left in the month, so now is crunch time to get your challenges completed and tallied up for a sweet reward come next month! If you haven’t started your count in the August 2013 Tracking Thread, there’s still time! I plan on getting at least 2 or 3 more challenges done so I can get some free buffet pieces next month–nothing beats free 😉

Welcome to July! Can you believe it’s already here? Seems like it was just the holiday season and now 2013 is half gone. I’ll be packing up summer clothes soon and I haven’t even put my coat away! 😉 This week I am highlighting one of my personal favorite challenges, the buffet challenge, hosted this month by Bekah of Bekah E Designs!
July’s buffet theme is…designer’s choice! Our designer had a palette to work off of with their imagination picking the theme for each of them! We’ve got a fishing kit, a graduation kit and more–don’t miss out on the buffet on sale now; take a look at some of the kits!
The colors have a nice masculine look while still being bright and summery. I’m liking the broad spectrum of themes here, too! For the buffet challenge, all you have to do is create a layout using some pieces from this month’s buffet–easy peasy! Take a look at some of the pages the ladies in the forum have already hammered out!

Loving the colors even more after checking out some of the pages you ladies have come up with! I love that the kits can be used for really specific photos or just general ones with a certain theme. This is truly a versatile buffet you need to add to your stash! 😉
