Here is a little bio from Valarie: I’m a 28 yr old stay at home mom during the week and I run a paper route on the weekends. I have been married almost 10 years to Blaine, who I met online. We have 2 girls Courtney (8) and Kelsey (5), a cat (Spyder) and a dog (Dixie). We live in eastern Kentucky. I have been designing steadily for about 4 years, off and on before that. I am Mel from Mel Hains designs and I am TOTALLY addicted to anything scrappy! I started digiscrapping and designing rougly 3 years ago and am now selling my designs at Scrap that Idea. I am very happy to be the Guest designer for Gingerscraps for the month of December! My scrappy style changes as much as my mood does from minute to minute. At this stage I am very fond of the ‘papery’ look, but just about anything goes. I love doodles. My kits will usually have some kind of doodle somewhere, I just love them! I feel very fortunate that big name designers like Kim B, Ellie Lash and Lindsay Jane took the time to replied to my emails to them when I initially started designing, I am still crazy about their stuff! Its that time again… Fresh out of the oven for you!! Some wonderful goodies.

First of all, The GingerBread Ladies have totally rocked a new collab for you-

The GingerScraps County Fair-

I don’t know about you but every year I look forward to the County Fair! As a matter of fact when I was in 5th grade I wrote an essay about our family…. and it won “The Nevada County Family Of The Year”! It was so amazing!! Our family got daily fair passes, unlimited rides for us and any of our friends, parking passes right in the front spot for VIP, admission to the extra events – like The Monster Trucks, and we even got to judge the salsa contest. It was the best week ever. We made wonderful memories that will last a lifetime.

I choose a GingerBread Lady color palette and theme 4 times a year and I knew that this summer I wanted to do a Fair collab. Watching this kit come together has been thrilling for me!! I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do.
