Here is a little more about Jen:

I’m a 38yo stay at home mom, married to the most awesome man on the planet 😉 We are an army family… DH has been career all the way. Which really doesn’t bother me, having grown up a Navy brat. Between the two of us, we have 7 children… ages 19, 17, 16, 13, 12, 11 & 8… plus a cat and a dog. I’ve been digi-scrapping for about 3 1/2 years now, designing for a little over 2 of those years. I love the creative process and have recently switched gears in my designing to include more doodlage and less purchased CU. There are CU designers out there that are just too good to pass up though 😉 Aside from digital scrapbooking & designing, I love making blinkies & banners, I dabble in web design, and I am hooked on Mario games for our Wii. I’ve also gotten myself a Kindle and have been reading a lot lately! I’m so excited to be here at GingerScraps and hope you enjoy my designs as much as I did creating them!

Here is a little bio from Valarie: I’m a 28 yr old stay at home mom during the week and I run a paper route on the weekends. I have been married almost 10 years to Blaine, who I met online. We have 2 girls Courtney (8) and Kelsey (5), a cat (Spyder) and a dog (Dixie). We live in eastern Kentucky. I have been designing steadily for about 4 years, off and on before that. I started out as a paper scrapper so my designs reflect that.

I am Mel from Mel Hains designs and I am TOTALLY addicted to anything scrappy! I started digiscrapping and designing rougly 3 years ago and am now selling my designs at Scrap that Idea. I am very happy to be the Guest designer for Gingerscraps for the month of December! My scrappy style changes as much as my mood does from minute to minute. At this stage I am very fond of the ‘papery’ look, but just about anything goes. I love doodles. My kits will usually have some kind of doodle somewhere, I just love them! I feel very fortunate that big name designers like Kim B, Ellie Lash and Lindsay Jane took the time to replied to my emails to them when I initially started designing, I am still crazy about their stuff! I have a 7 year old daughter named Savannah and live with my partner Damien and my two crazy cats, George and Orwell, in sunny Durban, South Africa. We also have our own photography business which is my other passion.
