Sneak Peeks!

Good morning!

We’re into day 2 of our Birthday celebrations for GingerScraps and we can’t forget our Sneak Peeks! Tomorrow is Friday, and though there already are some terrific new pieces in the store (see the additions to our Birthday Buffet!) there are still some goodies coming out way!

This is where you can commence your New Releases Chair Dance! 😉

First up we have something new from Pixelily Designs!

There are so many wonderful pages already created with this new product, and I wish I could share them all but you’ll have to settle for three.  😉 It looks like a beautiful kit, strong affirmations and lovely warm colors. I can’t wait to see it in full!

Next we have a fun looking kit coming from Twin Mom Scraps!

I love this! I love all the trucks! Might just have to pick this one up- since my sons collection of trucks is growing. I really love that fork lift element! I used to work in a warehouse, and used to drive one of those around all the time- I might even have to dig around for a photo or two from way back then. Hehe

There is also a new release coming from Kawouette Designs!

It’s already half way through September- October will be here before you know it, and with it, Halloween! I didn’t start scrapping until after all the fun holidays last year, but this year… oh yes, this year BRING IT ON! I love the fun cute look of this kit- I’m totally in love with those little pumpkins! I can’t wait to see this in the store!

I have ONE more sneak peek for you, a  layout created using something new from Connie Prince.

I’m absolutely intrigued and drawn to that very “fragile” looking butterfly in the top right corner! That looks amazing, and I’m not even a butterfly fan!

That’s it – BUT don’t fret, there will be more in the store, this is just a sneak peek of some  of the lovely goods that will be arriving tomorrow morning. Are you excited? Does Friday morning feel like Christmas EVERY WEEK? Yeah.. me too. 😉

What makes it even MORE exciting is our GingerScraps Birthday Party (ALL WEEKEND LONG) Celebrations! The entire store is 30% OFF PLUS there are bundled goodies (three kits for the price of one!), and fun prizes too! SO MUCH EXCITEMENT that I HAVE to use CAPS!

Happy Birthday Gingerscraps

Do not adjust your calendar. You’re not confused. It truly is Wednesday, not Friday. Today, Gingerscraps turns FOUR! I cannot believe that it’s been four years. Sometimes it feels like forever, and sometimes it just doesn’t feel like it’s been that long.

In the past four years, we’ve seen new designers just starting out, and we’ve seen a few retire. Each year, we add to the Birthday Buffet, and this year is no different! It’s My Birthday has a few new additions!

We still have the previous minis, as well!

As always, the CT had a blast playing with the minis!

Shh!! It’s a surprise. Okay, not really but it’s definitely a sale! That would make the buffet items $1.40 a piece! That’s a gift that keeps on giving!

Our designers have also bundled three of their previously released kits for just $5! I have a few in mind that I’m going to be buying, that’s all I have to say!

I don’t know about you, but one of my favorite party games is a good old fashion Cake Walk.
You walk around a circle and if you land on a winning number, you get a delicious cake! Well we have our very own digi Cake Walk!
EVERY purchase (of $5.00 or more) you make, between Sep 12th and Sep 16th, will grant you one walk around our cake walk.
If you land on a lucky number (chosen by a random generator) then you will get some delicious goodies! We have new- never released products (cakes) from some of your favorite GS designers, and TWO very lucky winners will receive a $50 shopping spree in the Site Collabs (gingerbread ladies collabs only) section of the GS shop. Over 30 lucky shoppers will go home with a scrumptious cake! All winners will be emailed their prize on Sep 18th. Don’t worry, we will track all purchases, if you spend $25 then that is good for FIVE entries into the cake walk. The more you spend the better your odds will be. Good luck and start shopping!!

There’s also a Scavenger Hunt going on! Have a look through the store, and look for the Gingerbread man! There might be some hints in the forum, to help you in your search!

Another fun game is happening! What’s in the Designer’s purse? You have to match the designer to her purse! Each of them left some clues in the picture. Some might be a little harder than others, but not impossible, I promise!

Challenge Spotlight – Template Challenge #1

Happy Tuesday everyone, hope your week is off to a good start. This week I am spotlighting the template challenge for the first half of September hosted by Rachel of Pretty in Green. This freebie challenge only runs for credit through September 15 (although you can snag the template all month long and post your scrap), so I wanted to let you all see the lovely little template Rachel made for us in time to get the challenge completed for credit.

I love a unique template; I like the circular and rectangular photo spots here and just the fun general design. I’ve been poking around in the challenge thread and found some great layouts for inspiration for you…

Weekly Wrap-up: fall in love with Fall!

Why hello there friends!

It’s time to wrap up another week gone by, seven more days crossed off our calendars bringing us closer and closer to the end of the year. Can you believe that? The temperatures are cooling wonderfully, the cross breeze I’m experiencing sitting here at the computer in my apartment is actually making me cold… and I LOVE it!

Fall is my favorite time of year. I just told my husband this morning that I’m pretty sure October through January are my most loved months. Not only for the cool and cold weather but for the colors, the holidays, the everything.

Now that Fall is seriously upon us (or very nearly so) I was positively thrilled to see so many beautiful kits in the store, new and old, that embody that rich warm and cool bold pallets of Autumn.

And of course I plan to share some of them with you! (each image is linked, so all you’ve got to do is click the image and it’ll take you straight to the product. 🙂 ) 

These are just a few of the many amazing kits we have in store for the impending season. I really recommend looking through them, you never know what gem you’ll find that you didn’t know was there!

Today, in Wisconsin (that’s where I’m at- *waves!*), is our pride and joy, the Green Bay Packers, season opener. The state goes into a FRENZY during football season and whether you like football or not the love for our team is so contagious that you just can’t help but root for them. With that said I know I won’t be the only one hosting a game party throughout the season- no matter who you’re rooting for, and with our August Buffet: Go Team! you’ve got plenty to  scrap those game day photos, something I’m entirely TOO excited about!

There are a few days left to get your emails in for our Ad Team Call! I’d love to increase our fun little team to include some bright new faces!

Kawouette Designs is still looking for a few people to add to her Creative Team! Make sure to check out her call as well.

One last thing, before I go, because I don’t want to forget! Book Club is back for the month of October, and the poll to pick our read is up! So do head on over and vote for next months book!
