Welcome to July, Gingerscrappers! The year is just flying by. It’s amazing how fast time can just zoom on by. Don’t you fret though! Gingerscraps has plenty of goodies that makes the flying time worth it!

This month, there’s no official theme to the buffet. There’s a unifying color palette, and the kits play together beautifully. Enjoy the July 2013 {Designer’s Choice} buffet series this month!

We have NEW Buffet options!! You asked for it, and we listened! The GS Buffet will now included FULL size kits!! In addition to the mix and match packs, you can now also find full size kits in the buffet section. The price point has been adjusted accordingly. Everything in the Buffet will always be $4.00 and under. Every month the new Buffet items will all be 50% off (from the 1-5th of the month). Happy June! I’m so absolutely thrilled to share with you the wonderfulness that is coming out of Gingerscraps this month. We have a new Bake Sale, including a new and fun way to get some really stunning kits at wonderful prices.

Fresh Baked: May 03

Good morning, Gingerscraps friends! How did you enjoy your first day of the iNSD party that’s going on? More information is available on the blog, if you missed it! I hope you still want to shop because the designers have some amazing things out again today! Kathy Winters has a continuation of her P52 Save the Date series. Angelclaud is continuing her Project 365 template series. Several designers have iNSD grab bags available, too. There are so many goodies that I couldn’t even attempt to choose a favorite.

I had the same issue trying to choose the layouts to show off. I chose two using the Spring Fling buffet series, and one using Signs of Spring, the monthly mix for May.

Good Morning! It’s May! Can you believe it? We’ve already finished a quarter of 2013! May is a great month! School is finishing, spring is (supposed to be) in full swing!

Speaking of spring, this month’s buffet is called Spring Fling. It’s full of fun bright colors that just say “I’m ready for a change of scenery”!

The designers all had their own take on what the colors and theme said to them! I love the variety!

Good morning! How was your Easter? Today’s April Fool’s, but this is no trick! We at Gingerscraps have some great things in store for you! A new buffet, Free With Purchase, and Daily Download! This month, we also have a new item that will be released on the 1st of the month. The Monthly Mix, which used to release around the middle of the month, will now be releasing on the first! So much goodness going on right now!

Fresh Baked: March 01, 2013

Bye February! You never stay around long enough for us to even adjust to the fact that it’s a new month, and then you’re gone. Can you believe that we’re at March already? Sixteen days until green beer, gold coins, and when everyone becomes Irish. At least that’s how it feels. As the mom of a St. Patrick’s Day child, it’s a fun holiday for us to celebrate.

The colors surrounding March seems to always be rainbows, and this month’s buffet is no exception. It’s such a fun and happy buffet, as well. You’ll be saying “Lucky Me” when you scrap with it!

The designers really showed their playful sides with this buffet!

Today, I’m so excited to tell you that we have a new designer joining the team.

Tracy of Trixie Scraps Designs!

Tracy, aka Trixie of Trixie Scraps Designs, happily opens her shop with us today! She has over 10 years of experience as a scrapbooker, beginning first with paper and switching to digi in 2007. In October 2008, she opened her first store as a digital designer and has never looked back! Tracy just recently relocated to the Kansas City area with her husband Erick and their two dogs, Diamond and Lucy. She’s a devoted aunt to three nieces, one nephew (and one on the way) and she spends a lot of time with her cousin’s three little boys, as well. She loves popcorn-flavored Jelly Bellys, Mexican food, country music and reality TV. Trixie’s catalog is chuck full of stunning collections, complete with gorgeous paper patterns, versatile "paper scrap" style elements, and plenty of add-ons to help you complete beautiful pages quickly and easily. Fresh Baked: HAPPY NEW YEAR!

5… 4… 3… 2… 1… HAPPY NEW YEAR! Can you believe it? It’s 2013!! 2012 was filled with ups and downs, a few bumps and bruises, but plenty of good friends and love. At least it was here at Gingerscraps. Gingerscraps saw a new look, lots of new designers joining the team, and the sadness of a few leaving us.

New Year’s is the time for celebration, and for reflecting. It’s the time to set new resolutions and review the ones we made the year prior. This month’s buffet, Hopes and Dreams is perfect for that!

Fresh Baked: Happy December

Can you believe it’s already December? Thirty-one more days, and we’ll be looking at 2013!

The winds are blowing in from the north, and the breath is visible in the air. There are white flakes falling from the sky. The winter season is upon us, and it’s time to prep for the snow.

Some areas have already had snow come to their areas, and I will be honest. I am completely jealous. I was born during a snowfall. Being a December baby, you tend to end up with that. Lately, we haven’t seen any snow. It makes me sad. Hopefully, we get some this year.

Why, you ask, am I going on about snow? It’s time for a new buffet! This month’s theme is snow, snow, and more snow! Snowball Fight!

Snowball Fight is full of fun elements and papers, just perfect for all of those snow pictures. If you don’t have any snow pictures, pictures of the beach would work just fine, I think. Even something Christmas related would be perfect!

Fresh Baked: November 02, 2012

I have so much to be grateful for right now that I can’t even begin to explain it! So much good stuff is going on. iDSD has officially begun, and the sales are amazing. Today, I get to show you the grab bags the designers have put together for it! We also have a new designer joining our team! Sandy Pie Creations!

Before I do, though, I have to show off a few of the layouts that have been created using the newest buffet, Attitude of Gratitude. It was so hard to limit myself to just three this week! There are so many great ones to choose from!

Created by beckyroy. I love the big use of the stamped title. And the adding of the same title in the tab really makes the layout work so beautifully.

Created by beckyroy. I swear, I didn’t know I chose the same person twice. I was only looking at the layouts. I just loved the “Brudder” part. It really made the layout speak to me, in a fashion.

Don’t forget about iDSD!! There’s a LOT going on!

The sale has been extended to the 9th, so that those affected by Sandy are able to get their power back. Our thoughts and prayers are with the NE of the United States at this time, hoping for a fast recovery to a normalcy.

Now I get to share with your our newest designer!!

Hi, my name is Sandy. I grew up an Air Force brat mostly in the midwest, but went to 7 different elementary schools. I married an Air Force guy and a few years ago we finally left military life and beautiful Las Vegas to settle down as close to family as we could get, and ended up in Northern Minnesota, only a 8 hour drive from “home”. When I’m not scrapbooking (!) I am a SAHM to two boys, 13 & 9, and blushing bride to my dear Hubs of 7 years. And a Pinterest and Ancestory.com addict. We’re a house full of animal lovers with 3 cats and 1 really large dog, who oddly enough thinks he’s a cat, a 128 pound cat!
I have been scrapbooking for what seems like forever, most collecting memorabilia and paper scrap supplies, but I have paper commitment issues so I didn’t get many pages done. (I have the same problem with fabric and planning the quilts I will “make” with them.) I found digi scrap a few years ago and found I could use the graphics manipulation skills I’d learned working as an engraver in an awards, trophy and framing shop to create fun 3-d projects and cards with digital designs I could reuse again and again. (My favorite part!) After some encouragement from a couple of designers I CT for, I started selling my hybrid designs a few months ago. And now I’m at Ginger Scraps, and in fantastic company.

If you couldn’t tell, she’s a hybrid designer. With Julie on a leave of absence, we’ve been short a hybrid designer! I cannot wait to see what she has in store for us! For now, she has one new item for us to play with.
